Telesale Executive – Call Center Opportunity at aYo Insurance Brokers Uganda – SMC Limited
aYo Insurance Brokers Uganda – SMC Limited, a subsidiary of the renowned MTN and Sanlam Group, is inviting applications for the role of Telesale Executive in our Call Center located in Namanve, Uganda. We are seeking 15 dedicated individuals who are passionate about sales and customer service. This position is especially suitable for applicants living in the vicinity of Namanve, Bweyogerere, Kireka, Mbuya, Mukono, Seeta, Namugongo.
About the Role:
The Telesale Executive will be primarily responsible for selling MTN aYo insurance covers to customers via phone. The role involves applying cross-selling and upselling strategies to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engaging with prospective customers to sell aYo insurance services.
- Following up and closing sales deals.
- Expanding the company’s customer base.
- Achieving sales targets as agreed upon.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Handling customer inquiries and setting up customers on aYo services.
- Resolving customer complaints or disputes.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- A diploma from a recognized university.
- Positive attitude and good negotiation skills.
- Experience in telemarketing or sales.
- Proficiency in English and Luganda or other local languages is advantageous.
- Ability to multitask while using a computer.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to work under pressure in a busy, goal-oriented sales-driven environment.
