Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our team. This role involves financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, inventory management, financial reporting, and sustainability analysis within our manufacturing/production division. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial insights to support informed decision-making and optimize financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, analyze budget variances, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Cost Accounting: Manage cost accounting processes, collaborate with production teams to optimize costs, and contribute to strategic decision-making through comprehensive cost analysis.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory accounting, collaborate with supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels and operational efficiency.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, contribute to detailed financial reports for senior management, and provide insightful analysis of financial results.
- Sustainability Analysis: Evaluate operational decisions’ impact on financial results and sustainability objectives, identify growth opportunities, and formulate strategic recommendations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or ACCA certification (Level 1) preferred.
- Proven experience in cost accounting and budgeting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
