Job Summary:

UniK is seeking a dedicated and proficient Assistant Accountant responsible for maintaining accurate invoicing and credit records for students, handling financial queries, and managing banking transactions and financial correspondences.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain proper invoicing and credit records of students.
  • Address student queries regarding their financial obligations and status.
  • Serve as the official agent for the University’s banking transactions.
  • Handle correspondence relating to the University’s financial obligations and receivables.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration/Management, or an equivalent degree from an NCHE-recognized institution.
  • At least level two in ACCA or CPA.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a higher learning institution.
  • Proficiency in automated accounting systems and various accounting packages.
  • Demonstrated high moral integrity, professional ethics, and business acumen.
  • Strong customer service orientation, particularly in addressing student queries.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
