We are among the pioneers in BPO services and solutions outsourcing catering for both local and international partners in the region. In 2019, we moved to launch one of the most modern call center facilities in Uganda, to meet the growing market demand for outsourced call center solutions. Today, SLS offers contact center services to customers from across the region and tailor-made BPO solutions globally.


Job Summary:  The Team Leader will manage the team to ensure maximum recovery of money owed by the debtors.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Review assigned collection portfolio, divide and assign portfolios in an equitable and effective manner.
  • As a team member, participate in promoting the firm’s image through customer care and good customer relations while executing enshrined duties in accordance with the firm’s customer services charter.
  • Support junior staff in achieving business objective through regular performance management.
  • Prepare daily and monthly portfolio collection progress reports to be forwarded to the firm’s clients.
  • Able to use the auto dialer system in terms of uploading campaigns as per strategy agreed on a daily to achieve maximum collections.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, regulatory and contractual requirements in the Quality Management System as per ISO Standards.


Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in economics, Business Administration, Commerce or relevant field.
  • Experience in call center management is an added advantage.
  • Ability to have authority but tactful with it.
  • Remaining calm under pressure.
  • A skilled negotiator.
  • Willing to delegate.
  • Computer literacy is essential and mandatory.
