The Academic Registrar, Kabale University, invites applications to the following postgraduate courses and undergraduate courses. (both April and August intakes) under private sponsorship scheme.

Kabale University August Intake Advert ; The academic body of Kabale University is calling on all prospective students that Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants (private and government sponsored) for admissions into its various undergraduate, postgraduate and other non-degree programmes.
There are various programmes available at Kabale University and therefore the admission application forms are released in different intakes for Government and Private Sponsored Students. Below are the available programme intakes:
Applicants shall:
- Pay a non-refundable application fee of Shs.50,000/= at any bank using a zeepay number generated from AIMS
- Obtain an application form and complete it
- Attach photocopies of their academic documents to the completed application form.
- Return the applications to any of the following collection points:
- Kabale University Liaison Office, 3rd Floor, REEV House, Bombo Rd, Opposite GAPCO Service Station, Wandegeya, Kampala
- Kabale University Liaison Office, 1st Floor, NARTZALUS House, Opposite Simba – Kimironko, Remera, Kigali, Rwanda
- Kabale University Office, Rukungiri District Education Office, Rukungiri Municipality
- Kabale University, Kikungiri Campus, Kabale Municipality
- For applicants who cannot obtain forms and/or deliver the applications physically:

- Download the application form from downloads, complete the form, scan it along with your academic documents and e-mail the scanned copies to admissions@kab.ac.ug, or post the applications to Admissions Office, Kabale University, P.O. Box 317, Kabale, Uganda

Note:
- ONLY applicants with official Transcripts/Result Slips and/or Certificates shall be considered.
- Applicants for postgraduate programmes and upgraders must attach certified copies of their Transcripts and/or Certificates.
- Applicants holding academic qualifications attained outside Uganda must also attach copies of equivalence documents obtained from the Uganda National Examinations Board or Uganda National Council for Higher Education, as the case may be.
- Information on specific admission requirements for all programmes can be obtained under Study at KAB> Fees Structure, Academic Registrar’s Office, and Liaison Offices in Rukungiri, Kampala and Kigali.

KABALE UNIVERSITY, KAB UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
The following are the requirements for admission to Degree programmes:
- For a bachelor’s degree programme, UACE (or its equivalent) with at least two principal passes in relevant subjects obtained at the same sitting, or a relevant diploma
- For an undergraduate diploma programme, UACE (or its equivalent) with at least one principal pass and two subsidiary passes in relevant subjects obtained at the same sitting, or a relevant certificate
- UCE (or its equivalent) with at least five passes obtained at the same sitting
KABALE UNIVERSITY, KAB POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Entry requirements for a Postgraduate degree Programme
- For a candidate to be admitted into any postgraduate diploma programme, the candidate must have a degree from KAB or any other recognized University with a minimum of pass class degree in a relevant field.
Entry requirements for a Masters degree Programme
- To be admitted into the Master’s degree programme the applicant must possess a Bachelor degree of KAB or of any recognized University by KAB Senate in the relevant field.
- A professional qualification from a recognized institution may be considered for admission to a professional Master’s degree.
