Mode of Study:

1.Research

In this mode of study, the students choose a research topic from a specific area of research under the supervision of an academic staff member specialized in the area. The supervisor guides the student on how to achieve the research objectives, and they periodically report on the progress of the study. The university assigns an assistant supervisor in the case where the subject matter extends between different disciplines. In the cases of students registered to study outside Sudan, an external supervisor will be appointed to assist the internal supervisor to oversee the part that takes place outside Sudan.

2.Coursework

This includes compulsory and elective courses in addition to a graduation project or research paper. The study is in the form of lectures and seminars. Evaluation of the students is based on the semesters’ work, assignments and exams as defined in the regulations and requirements for each program.
