DMI – St John the Baptist University Cut Off Points 2024-2025; ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR BACHELOR DEGREE PROGRAMMES
1. Candidates must have the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)with an aggregate of not more than thirty points in the best six subjects obtained in not more than two sittings(or)
2. Candidates must have the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)and passed in Pre-Entry/ Bridge Course Examination was conducted by the University(or)
3. Candidates applying for bridge course must have points below 36.
4. Credit in English is must and Chichewa is not included when calculating the aggregate points.
5. Equivalent qualification on approval of the Academic Board.
Throughourexemptionspolicywearealsoinvitingapplicationsforsecondyearand third year intakes for the above degree programmes. Our exemption policy is as follows:
Students must have MSCE or equivalent qualification with 6 credits including English.
Three-year diploma holders: Entry into third year,first semester
Two- year diploma holders: Entry into second year,first semester
Less than two- year diploma holders:No exemption, entry into first year, first semester
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES
Candidates must have a credit pass in English and in anyone relevant subject in Malawi School Certificate of Education(MSCE) (or)
2. Candidates must have a pass in the relevant Certificate Course from Accredited Institutions(or)
3. Equivalent qualification on approval of the Academic Board.
