About the Department
The Aquaculture and Fisheries Science Department was established following the need for technical human resources in aquaculture and fisheries. The aims of the department include; producing graduates with an in-depth understanding of underlying principles related to Aquaculture and Fisheries Science and producing graduates with aquaculture and Fisheries research and extension capabilities.

The vision of the Department of Forestry is to be LUANAR’s center of excellence in training, research, extension and consultancies in forestry within Malawi and globally. It is one of the departments in the Faculty of Natural Resources.

About the Department
The Department of Environmental Sciences and Management is one of the three departments in the Faculty of Natural Resources. The aims of the department include; teaching technical and management skills leading to a Bachelor of Science degrees in Natural Resources Management and Environmental Science, conducting useful research on national environmental and natural resources problems and providing a forum for examining problems in environment and resource use through outreach and consultancy services.
