Undergraduate Admission
The entry requirements for admission to bachelor degree programmes include:
- Regular admission to a Bachelor degree degree programme requires a High School Leaving Certificate with an aggregrate score of 60 or “C” or “Credit”, or equivalent.
- Applicants with a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a relevant area may be considered for credit transfer
- Applicants with at least 2 years post-secondary relevant experience may be considered for entry
- Recognized proof of English proficiency
- Up to date CV
- Copy of Passport of National ID
In addition to a strong academic record, extra-curricular activities, leadership skills and other relevant background information are taken into account.
Postgraduate Admission
The entry requirements for admission to Master’s degree programmes include:
- Regular admission to a Master’s degree programme requires an accredited Bachelor degree or international equivalent. Related professional qualifications at the appropriate level will also be considered for entry.
- Students with an accredited Master’s degree will also be considered for entry.
- HND holders with good, relevant work experience (post-graduation) , may also be considered for entry.
- Recognized proof of English proficiency if the Bachelor degree was not taught in the English language
- Personal Statement of Statement of Purpose (minimum 500 words)
- Up to date CV
- Official Recommendation Letter (Academic or Professional)

Doctorate Admission
Applications for doctorate study are accepted all year round. Students may submit their application by using the Unicaf University online application form and paying the application fee.
The entry requirements for admission to Doctorate degree programmes include:
- An accredited Master’s degree (e.g. MA, MSc, MPhil) in a relevant subject area or in an unrelated area but supported by relevant professional experience. In addition, a wide range of international equivalent qualifications may also be considered
- Official Master’s degree transcripts.
- Recognized proof of English proficiency if previous studies were not taught in the English language. Otherwise, an IELTS score 6.5 (with a minimum of 6.5 in the writing component and no individual component lower than 6.0) is required; or an English Placement Test result with a 6.5 equivalence (provided no score in each individual component is less than 6.0).
- Personal Statement of Statement of Purpose (minimum 500 words)
- Up to date CV
- Two official Recommendation Letters (Academic or Professional)
- Comprehensive Research Proposal demonstrating the applicant’s potential for undertaking scholarly work at the doctorate level.
- Writing samples or a portfolio of creative work
- Evidence of ability to undertake independent research
