About US:
ACORD-U (Agency for Cooperation in Research and Development – Uganda) is an indigenous Non Governmental Organization (NGO) working for social justice and development. ACORD has been working in Uganda since 1979 with operations in over 25 districts across Uganda. The ACORD-U works in conjunction with people who have been denied their basic rights, helping to better understand, to challenge, and to change the situation in which they find themselves.
About USAID KCHS Project:
The Agency for Cooperation in Research and Development-Uganda (ACORD-U), received grants from USAID, to implement the “Keeping Children Healthy and Safe (KCHS) Activity” in South Western Uganda (Sheema, Mitooma, Kazo, Kiruhura and Ibanda Districts).
Job Summary: The Office Assistant/Cleaner will perform various functions, which primarily involve ensuring a clean and safe office environment.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate should hold a P.L.E or ‘’O’’ level certificate
- Good communication skills can read, write and speak English language
- Interpersonal skills: can establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members, co-workers or clients.
