State University of Zanzibar Accommodation
SUZA Student Accommodation
SUZA doesn’t have accommodation for its studies. All students at SUZA are supposed to look for places to stay. Before you come to SUZA therefore, you must ensure that you know where you will stay.
Many SUZA students rent houses in groups across the vicinity of SUZA campuses. SUZA has three campuses, each of which hosts distinct schools. School of Kiswahili and Foreign Languages is located at Nkrumah Campus – A beautiful campus at the beach front, whereas School of Education and School of Natural and Social Sciences are located at Tunguu campus – The brand new campus – also know as Green campus due to its beautiful lawns populated by trees.
On the other hand, the Vuga campus, which is located at the heart of stone town, host the School of Continuing and Professional Education, and the Department of Kiswahili for Foreigners. The programs offered at Vuga campus are short-courses that range from a few weeks to one year.
Admitted students must find out the campus in which their programs are being offered in order to know where to look for house.
The Students Welfare Unit and Students Organization are available to assist students to look for private hostels or houses to rent.
