Christian Brothers’ College Boksburg High School is committed to the development of the whole person. Our policies, processes and approach to teaching and learning are there to facilitate Academic, Physical, Cultural and Spiritual growth in all who are part of our College family and where the presence of each individual is valued.
The Christian ethos of our school is reflected in our selection process which although involving an entrance examination, is structured to acknowledge a wide variety of abilities and talents. We take great pride in developing each of our students to their utmost potential.
We strive to be a progressive and caring environment in which foundations are laid and character is developed, enriching the lives of our boys and preparing them for the opportunities and adventures they will have as they develop into the “Men of Honour.”The men we expect them to be.
“You will never do anything in this world without courage. It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honour.”Aristotle
The school has a well-balanced academic and extra-mural and spiritual development programme, delivered by well-trained, motivated and experienced staff, with and understanding of the learning needs of the boys.
Our boys are exceptionally proud of C.B.C. and there is indeed a tremendous sense of community within the school. This is further enhanced by our unique House and Leadership system, through which a strong work ethic, self-worth, individual recognition and a sense of belonging is created.
