Department of Education Learnerships Available
Department of Education Learnerships are all related to the educational process but also includes a variety of other fields seen as scarce skills. Depending on the learnership, some candidates may need to complete more than one for a formal qualification.

- Training Facilitator
Department of Education Learnerships Requirements
There are some set requirements that candidates need to meet to be eligible for a learnership through this Department. Below we have listed some of those requirements, yet, there may be more required depending on the selected field.
Basic Requirements needed:
- Candidates must be South African citizens
- Must hold a valid ID document
- Applicants must have a Grade 12 certification
- Must not be employed
If applicable candidates may also need to have a certificate or degree within their field. Applicants must also provide all their academic transcripts and be sure the information they provide is current. It is recommended to also include a detailed CV and reference letters if available.
Department of Education Learnerships Application
Each province in South Africa has their own Department of Education that falls under the Department of Education. The Department of Education learnerships applications online cannot be accessed, interested candidates can download the Z83 application form and submit it along with all required documentation to their nearest Department of Education.
Department of Education Learnerships Closing Date
Closing dates for these learnerships are different every year but usually is around the middle of the year, June, July, and August. Each Department may also have alternate closing dates, thus, it is better for interested candidates to first talk to someone at their local Department of Education before applying.
