List of Documents Required in Respect of Admission to Edenvale High School

(Certified Copies)

 

1.    Unabridged Birth Certificate of child X2

2.    A recent black and white or colour photograph of the child (ID size) X2

3.    Proof of residence in our feeder area:

       Owners of property (water & electricity account, showing residential

       address, insurance, medical aid certificate with your name and

       residential address printed thereon). 

       If a property is rented, the original lease agreement document is to be

       presented and a certified copy left with the school with a copy of the 

       owner’s ID document.  A home visit will be made to verify that the tenant

       lives at the premises.

4.    Both Parents/Guardians I.D. Documents or death certificate.

5.    Divorce Agreement, if applicable.

6.    Last or latest school report (Original AND copy)

7.    A valid STUDY PERMIT and Passport (Original AND Copy) if an

       immigrant or foreigner, for learner and parents.

      PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

–     No copies will be made at Edenvale High School

–     Siblings do not get preference

–     Our LOLT is English Home Language and Afrikaans Additional 

      Language

–     Our school can only accommodate 250 online applications for Grade 8

      learners.

–     You will only be accepted once all the above documents have been

      handed in and after EHS information/application form has been

      completed.

–     We wish to emphasize that applicants are accepted in order of online

      submission – first come, first served.

All documentation should be handed in 7 days after online entry. 

 

Edenvale High School Fees 2024-2025

Edenvale High School Fees – Edenvale High School has released their tuition fee structure for 2024-2025 academic year.

FEE STRUCTURE 2024-2025

  • Edenvale High School continues to be a fee-paying school in terms of the SA Schools Act.

  • School fees for 2024-2025 are R 25 680 per learner, payable over 10 months (January to October) @R2568 per month via debit order, EFT or cash before the last working day of the month. Fees paid in full on or before February 2024-2025 will earn a 5% discount.

  • Parents/Guardian will be responsible for all personal items of LTSM not provided by the Education Department, subject text books as prescribed, stationery and related items as prescribed by the school, consumables for Specialist School Subjects.

  • Learners who participate in Computer Studies, IT, Consumer Studies, Visual Arts and EGD (CAD) will be required to pay additional fees for consumables.

  • Parents/Guardians will have to make additional monetary contributions for school uniforms, sports clothing, togs, kit, etc. (rugby jerseys, hockey sticks, etc.). Personal needs for expensive equipment based activities. Specific Cultural activities; individual entries for Olympiads, Eisteddfods, Major Production, Matric Dance, other social events, sport, educational and other tours, non-curricula excursions/events etc.

  • Extra-murals over and above offered by the school may carry additional costs.
