Designed to enable candidates to perform the function of cleaning kitchens in the hospitality industry.
Entry requirement Grade 9 minimum
Duration: 3-6 months
Career opportunities: Kitchen cleaner or porter
Outcomes: Hygiene and safety, Personal hygiene, Life skills, Basic computer skills
Table Attendant: NQF Level 2:
This programme is developed for those individuals who are working or want to work in the hospitality industry, but have no formal qualification. This programme is also a good entry point for individuals who want to enter the food preparation industry.
Entry requirement Grade 9 minimum
Duration: 6 months
Career opportunities: Table Attendant / Waiter, Food Runner or basic Bar person
Outcomes: Table service, Wine service, Customer service, Customer care and Life skills
Hotel Reception NQF Level 4
The programme was designed for reception for the hospitality / accommodation industry. It combines front office with lower management.
Entry requirement Grade 12
Duration: 1-year full time
Career opportunities: hotel receptionist, hostess, front office and reservations desk
