Prospective students are encouraged to apply as early as possible and adhere to the closing dates to

avoid disappointment.

Kindly note that for practical reasons only a limited number of students can be admitted to different degree programmes.

HOW TO APPLY:

Complete the form in full and answer all questions with black ink

Make sure that the names appearing on your ID as well as your certificates are the same and in the same sequence

All the required documents must be attached to the application form.

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH YOUR APPLICATION FORM:

Certified copy of your ID or Birth certificates

Certified copy of final Grade 11 results or final NSC/matric certificate (those who completed matric)

non-refundable application fee of R200,00. Applications received without the proof of payment will not be considered. No cash should accompany your application form.

Please do not apply for courses NOT listed in the brochure as your application will not be considered.

Application forms submitted after these dates will not be considered.

27 JUNE 2016: MBChB, BDS, B Dent Ther, B Oral Hygiene, BSc (Physio), BRad (Diagn), B Pharm 29 JULY 2016: BSc (Diet), B Speech Path Lang & Audio. B Occ Ther, BSc, B Cur, BNSc

All non-South African citizens and non-permanent residents are required to obtain a study permit prior to registering as students. Applications for study permits should be submitted to the South African Home Affairs, Consulate or High Commissioner in your country of residence/origin, and it would be issued in favour of Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University and to be submitted during registration.

SUBMIT A COPY OF THE NATIONAL SENIOR CERTIFICATE (NSC) FINAL EXAMINATION RESULTS AS SOON AS THEY BECOME AVAILABLE.

NB: Submit original Documents, NSC Statement of Results or certificate, ID as well as an official academic transcript (if applicable) on the day of registration during January/February 2016

Kindly note that all first entering students to the Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University must write the National Benchmark Test (NBT) in 2016 for 2017 admission.
