EXCLUSIONS
CHEMIST: Direct arrangements must be made with your chemist in Grahamstown. Due to changes in legislation, some chemists are now requiring up front deposits or Credit Card Authorisation.
HALF AND END-OF-TERM TRAVEL: The College does not advance the cost of pupils’ travel on behalf of parents. The Applicant can make arrangements directly with the local Travel Agent for the payment of air tickets.
INSURANCE: The personal possessions of pupils attending the College ARE NOT COVERED by the College’s insurance. Parents, particularly of boarders, should make their own arrangements for insuring the possessions of their children. Despite vigilance and strict precautions, losses do occur from time to time owing to negligence on the part of the
pupils or to unproved theft. Parents are urged to discourage their children from bringing jewelry and other expensive, unnecessary items to School for which they would not have adequate insurance cover. The school accepts no liability for the loss or damage to pupils’ property how so ever caused.
NOTES
1.A Family Rebate is offered, i.e.
Second Child – 5%
Third and subsequent child – 10%
The rebate applies to tuition fees only from Grade 1 to Grade12 and is offered for those pupils who do not enjoy any other form of financial assistance.
2.The College Council reserves the right to amend the above fees and charges without prior notice should circumstances so demand.
3.Fees are payable in South African currency. Any bank or foreign exchange charges levied by our bankers will be for parents’ accounts.
4.Fees are payable in full on the first day of each term unless alternative arrangements are concluded in writing with the Business
Manager (i.e. ⅓ of the annual fees are payable at the commencement of each of the three school terms in January, April and September).
5.A full term’s written notice of withdrawal of a pupil is required. Alternatively, a term’s fees will be charged in lieu of written notice in the event of withdrawal without such notice.
