Girls: 
  • Divided skirt/skort in plaid. It must be the correct length i.e. not more than 6cm above the knee.
  • Beige Rand Park tailored slacks.
  • White school shirt with school crest on the pocket. This shirt is worn over the slacks/skort.
  • White ankle socks and black school shoes.
Boys: 
  • Beige Rand Park chinos with black belt.
  • White school shirt with school crest on the pocket. This shirt must be worn tucked in.
  • Beige or white socks and black lace-up school shoes.
General: 
  • It is COMPULSORY to wear the school blazer every Monday; at all formal school functions, such as Prize-givings; and when representing the school at Inter-School events.
  • Brown V-neck school jersey. This may ONLY be worn together with the blazer.  Note that the former round-necked jersey has been discontinued and replaced by the V-neck jersey which now has a yellow trim around the ‘V’.
  • Winter jacket (stone colour) is OPTIONAL from April to September ONLY and may only be worn from Tuesday to Friday.
  • Official RPHS brown scarf and gloves are OPTIONAL for Winter. The white RPHS scarf may only be worn by First Team players.
  • If a shirt is worn under the school shirt, it must be white and must not be visible.
  • Official PE kit (brown shorts and white RPHS T-shirt) (plus school tracksuit in Winter) is COMPULSORY for PE lessons.
  • Rand Park tracksuits may be worn by those participating in an official fixture on a particular day, if permission has been granted by the coach. The Rand Park practice T-shirt will be the ONLY T-shirt permitted to be worn with the tracksuit.
  • Matrics may wear the Matric jacket only during times decided upon by the Principal. It is not part of the school uniform.
  • NO JEWELLERY (including signet rings and bangles) may be worn, except a watch, and a Medic-Alert bracelet. Pendants of a religious nature may be worn provided they are tucked away and out of sight. Any jewellery which does not meet school regulations will be confiscated.
  • Tattoos are not permitted. Existing tattoos must be covered by the uniform. Randpark High School Uniform

Appearance

Girls:

  • Hair is to be kept clean and neat. When the hair reaches the shoulders, it must be tied up in a proper fashion. Hair which is over the collar must be tidy, otherwise tied up with a ribbon or elastic. Only brown, white or yellow hair clips or ribbons may be used. Hair must be kept out of the eyes and no straggly strands are to hang over the ears. Unacceptable hair styles or dyed hair will not be allowed. Black braided extensions are allowed if they are neat and tied back at the neck.
  • Girls with pierced earlobes may only wear small-sized sleepers or studs of gold or silver of the conventional type. Only one earring per earlobe is permitted and must be worn in the lowest hole.
  • Nails must be kept clean and short. They may show over the top of the finger within reason. Clear nail hardener may be worn if nails are brittle.
  • No make-up of any kind is allowed. A cream for skin blemishes may be used but should be invisible. Lip-gloss is considered lipstick and may not be used. Randpark High School Uniform

Boys:

  • Hair is to be kept clean, neat, short and in accordance with the Principal’s specifications, i.e. off the collar, behind the ears and not thick at the back or top. Unacceptable hair styles e.g. steps, dreadlocks or dyed hair will not be allowed.
  • All boys are to be clean-shaven every day. Sideburns may not be grown beyond the middle of the ear and must be neatly trimmed.
  • Nails are to be kept short and clean.

 The school uniform must be clean, neatly ironed and in a good state of repair.

General:
