REGISTRATION FOR FIRST-TIME ENTERING STUDENTS

Please note that these are NEW REVISED DATES.
First-year students will register on Thursday, 30 January , and Friday, 31 January at Central Campus, Scanlan Street, Kimberley.
First-year students can also register online at the University’s North Campus, Luka Jantjie House – 1st Floor Computer labs. To download the first year online registration schedule, click here.
Late registration will take place on 6 February, and 7 February.

- There will be directions to the different venues.
IMPORTANT DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED AT REGISTRATION
- Two certified copies of your ID
- Original and two certified copies of your matric certificate/statement of results.
This page sets the minimum academic requirements for admission into study programmes at Sol Plaatje University in – 2022. The requirements are based on the results that applicants achieve in the South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations. Applicants who hold certificates from a different examination system will be considered individually for admission.
Note that if you satisfy the minimum admission requirements stated here, this does not automatically mean that you will be admitted to the study programme at SPU. The final decision on your admission will be based on your academic performance and the availability of space in the programme. The better your academic performance above this minimum, the better will be your chance of being admitted to study at SPU.
Calculating the SPU Admissions Points Score (APS)
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you satisfy the minimum requirements stated here, it does not mean that you will automatically be admitted to the study programme at SPU. The final decision on your admission will be based on your academic performance and the availability of space in the programme. If your academic performance is above these minimum requirements, your chance of being admitted to study at the University will be better.
