The Toyota Learnership Programme was developed as a means of training in various disciplines. This programme is a great opportunity for candidates who wish to pursue a career and qualification in the mechanical trade.

Candidates will have the advantage of working with Toyota for 5 months, gaining work experience and trade knowledge. Successful participants will be awarded certification after the programme is complete.

About the Toyota Learnership Programme

Toyota’s learnership programme is a training program catered towards candidates interested in mechanical trades. The programme lasts for a total of 5 months and candidates will receive training in various technical disciplines.

Upon completion, a successful candidate will be awarded an NQF level certificate level 2. This paired with the training received works to the advantage of the candidate, making the candidate much more employable and qualified.

Candidates will first need to meet Toyota’s entry requirements to be considered for placement in the program. Their application must be fully complete and submitted with the requested supporting documents.

Requirements

To apply for Toyota’s learnership programme, you will need to make sure that you meet their specific entry requirements. If you don’t meet the requirement, your application will not be considered.

The following is needed of the candidate:

  • NTC3 for Mechanical trades.
  • Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing and Graphic Design for Technical Matric Subjects.
