How scholarships and bursaries from external sources affect financial assistance

If you receive full cost assistance from sources other than UCT, e.g. a company or charitable organization, the university will withdraw

the assistance it has offered you. If you receive a small or partial scholarship (a grant based purely on merit) or a bursary/grant from sources other than UCT, your  financial assistance will be adjusted accordingly.

NB: Failure to inform the university of other sources of funding will result in the withdrawal of the financial assistance given by the university and disqualification of all future funding. For information regarding funding from companies and organizations outside of UCT, please check the Bursary Noticeboard.
