Watersrand Computer and Business College was established in 2004 primarily to offer quality education, training and development to the nation. The institution is operating within Further Education and Training band.
Watersrand Computer and Business College is a wholly black-owned company situated at the heart of Johannesburg central – (49 Kruis Street, Market Street, 3rd Floor, Century Insurance Building). The business was registered under close corporation Act by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in 2004, Reg. No: 2004/108494/23.
Due to the new legislation and the National Department of Education requirements, Watersrand Computer and Business College had to be converted to proprietary Limited (Pty) Ltd. In year 2006, Watersrand Computer and Business College was converted to Watersrand Computer and Business College (Pty) Ltd and registered by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Reg. No.: 2006/000992/07.
The institution is an Education and Training provider offering qualifications and unit standards registered on National Qualifications Framework(NQF) Level 2 – 4 (Further Education and Training Band) – FET.
In 2007 Watersrand Computer and Business College expanded its education and training offerings by establishing a delivery site / campus at Pretoria – the City of Tshwane (Princloo Street, Cnr. Schoeman Street, Princman Place, Gound Floor, Pretoria).
In 2010 Watersrand Computer and Business College expanded its education and training offerings by establishing a delivery site / campus at Kwazulu Natal – Amajuba District Municipality (33 Ayliff Street, Watersrand College House, Newcastle).
