When is University of Pretoria Open Day 2024-2025

UP registrations for the  academic year are fully online. Online registration is available from 3 January  for returning students (accessible via the UP Student Centre) and from 13 January for new students. The fact that you are on this page, shows that you have already decided to #ChooseUP as your ideal institution to further your studies. By now, you should already know what you want to study as well. The next step would be to register for your chosen course. If you still need to obtain your degree to land that dream job (in other words, you have not worn your graduation gown and cap yet), you are known as an undergraduate student. You are just starting out and getting your wings ready to FLY@UP and graduate on time. The registration process can be quite daunting at first, but don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. • Various holds may prevent you from registering successfully. Please check for holds on the UP Student Centre.
• Consult the Yearbooks for information on which modules to choose and curriculum.
• Assisted online registration will be available at the Hillcrest Campusfrom 13 January  until 31 January . Gates will be open 08:00 to 15:30.
• Hillcrest Campus is a cashless venue, but you can pay by credit card, debit card, cheque card or at the bank 5 days before you arrive. Bring along your proof of payment.
• All first year students need to collect their student access card at Hillcrest Campusbefore or on 25 January .
