Academics – High School Subjects
Grade 8 to 11
As from 2017 we will be following the IEB curriculum. IEB also develops vital educa
skills, including recall of knowledge, oral skills, problem solving, initiative, team wor
investigative skills. This course caters for different levels of ability.
The subjects we offer are:
English 1st Language Afrikaans 2nd Language
Mathematics Physical Sciences
Life Sciences (Biology) Geography
Accounting Life Oreintation
Grade 12

IEB National Senior Certificate is approved by HESA (Higher Education of South Afric
and SAQA (South African Qualifications Association).
Promotion Requirements – Grade 8 to 11
• The pass mark is 40%.
• English must be passed
If 2 or more subjects are failed a learner will not be promoted to the next grade.
Grade 10 must be repeated if the learner obtains a D symbol or lower for 3 or more
