All candidates applying for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree Program in the School of Dentistry shall satisfy the following requirements:
They must satisfy the common requirement for admission to Moi University.
The candidates must have obtained at least the minimum requirements for Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree as determined from either category A or B cluster after the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education structure as shown below:
Admission Requirements for Privately Sponsored Sponsored Student Programmes (PSSP)
Minimum of Grade A-(minus) at KCSE with A-(minus) in Biology, A-(minus) in Chemistry, A wighted cluster of 43 is recommended
“A” Level – 3 principal passes in Biology (A) and Chemistry (B) and either Physics or Mathematics (B) Or
Holders of Bachelor Degree or related subject must if:
KCSE graduates have a mean grade of B and B in Biology & Chemistry and either Mathematics or Physics and either English or Kiswahili
‘O’ Level – have at least 2 principal passes in Biology or Chemistry and Mathematics or Physics
Diploma Holders in Clinical Medicine subject must if KCSE mean grade B with B in Chemistry, Biology and either Mathematics or Physics or Physics & English or Kiswahili.
