Kajiado County Assistant Director Trade Jobs in Kenya
Duties and Responsibilities
⦁ Coordinating and monitoring activities performed by all divisions of the department Trade Markets;
⦁ Initiating and preparing papers on County Government strategies on domestic market policies and programmes;
⦁ Interpreting and implementing domestic market policies;
⦁ Provide assistance in the preparation of the Departments Budget estimates.
⦁ In charge of staff establishment, training and other staff development matters in the department.
Requirement’s for Appointment
⦁ Be a Kenyan Citizen.
⦁ Be a holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, International Trade, Law or Economics from a recognized university
⦁ Certificate in Senior Management Course. A certificate in Strategic leadership Development Programme lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized Institution will be an added advantage;
⦁ Minimum five (5) years working experience in the relevant field;
⦁ Demonstrate administrative ability and competence in work performance.
⦁ Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills;
⦁ Demonstrate a thorough understanding of County development objectives;
⦁ Proficiency in computer applications;
⦁ Have capacity to work under pressure to meet timelines;
- Have ability to work in a multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;
⦁ Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the values and principles as outlined in Article 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya;
⦁ Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
