Description
- Our client, a well-established group of schools in the outskirts of Nairobi wishes to recruit a dynamic, self-driven CEO. The jobholder must have a track record of excellence in institutional leadership for the last ten years. The CEO will have an advisory role and report to the Board of Directors.
Overall Responsibilities
- Organizational corporate governance.
- Progressive growth and strategic goals.
- Familiarity with national and British educational authority laws and regulations.
- Moulding students for personal growth and preparation for the global market.
- Educational innovations and student leadership programs.
Establish new partnerships locally and globally. - Foster a positive work environment.
- Build strong and positive relationships between the school, employees, students, parents and the wider community.
Students:
- Counseling and psychology programmes.
Adjudicate appropriate discipline for delinquent students.Teachers:
- Recruitment and on boarding of senior management/ teachers/ head of departments.
Resolve conflicts.Parents:
- Communication with parents, regulatory bodies/public.
- Create programmes that strengthen parent-institution collaboration.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with parents
Other Responsibilities:
- Create and review school budgets.
- Market and promote the school through appropriate channels.
- Lead practices for achievement of high academic achievements.
- Monitor financial affairs including budgets of school expenses.
- Keeping abreast with ICT and technological advancement, innovative/ leadership advances.
- Benchmark locally and abroad to establish partnerships and new advances in the promotion of effective learning.
- Managing support staff.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of Masters Degree in Education or Service Industry.
- Ability to use computers (conversant with MS Office, Google Drive, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational ability.
- Sound leadership skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proof-reading and editing skills.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Good judgment and decision-making.
