Job Profile:
The job holder will help the Principal establish an extremely strong and vibrant school culture consistent with the schools core culture principles.
Roles and Responsibilities
• To focus on teacher development and assist the principal in deputizing on administration matters:
• To ensure the professional duties of all teachers and teaching assistants within the School, as defined in the terms and conditions of staff contracts, are fulfilled
• To monitor and review deployment of teaching staff such that the learning needs of groups and individual pupils are met.
• To ensure that parents and pupils are well informed about the curriculum, attainment and progress towards their targets.
Desired Qualifications
• Bachelor of Education Degree or a general degree with a PGDE.
• At least 5 years teaching experience some of which must be in a senior position
• Must be TSC registered and in good standing.
• Experience in private school offering IGCSE/British curriculum
