Job Purpose
- An officer at this level will be responsible to the Senior Occupational Therapist in provision
of Occupational Therapy services in the Hospital.Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing occupational therapist services to patients;
- Assessing and formulating patients treatment plans;
- Examining and assessing patients’ needs;
- Rehabilitation and habitation through simulated activities;
- Verifying and maintaining information relating to patients;
- Maintaining records and data relating to patients;
- Collecting data for operational research;
- Sensitizing on occupational therapy issues; and
- Preparing periodic reports.
Qualification and Experience
- Diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Registration with Kenya Occupational Therapist Association.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
- Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
