Job Purpose: The primary job function of the Warehouse Assistant is to help manage the flow of products and stock through the warehouse while providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Scope of Service
Ware-house management through ensuring proper product arrangement/organisation, and safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.
Monitoring, setting aside and reporting on expiries and damaged items.
Ensuring stocks are safely and properly stored and organised
Order assembly – Picking and packing orders in an accurate and timely manner against Order picking list. Order assembly should ensure FIFO dispatch.
Assisting with loading and offloading items from delivery vehicles.
Receiving – Assist in physical receiving, verification of products as they are delivered.
Stock Take – Carrying out periodic spot checks at the warehouse
Audits – Facilitate internal and external stock audits and stock takes

Minimal errors in order assembly against customer order
Minimal turnaround time in assembling required orders
Clean and well-arranged warehouse at all times.
Flagging and setting aside of expiries, damages and breakages
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
High School Certificate.
Diploma/Certificate in Business related course or equivalent desirable.
Experience of at least 1 year preferred in a busy warehouse environment
