Our client is a training institution on digital programs. They Seek to hire an experienced, results driven and strategic Universities/TVETs Training Manager who is passionate and has hands on experience working with Higher Level Learning Institutions to drive Strategy, Training Campaigns and Program activities in the Institutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation and reporting of the Universities/TVETs Program engagement and
- alignment with the Program’s strategic plan indicators.
- Establish and/or maintain relations with implementing collaborators including Universities, Colleges, and
- Technical and Vocational institutions and build a database of key stakeholders in the sector in an effort to create
- the pool for Program stakeholders.
- Based on research, plan and implement the Training Programs that will prepare Students in both Universities and
- TVETs for the next step of their career paths in the digital space.
- Identify Training Curriculum and Course Needs and conduct surveys to address Competency and Skills gaps in
- Universities and TVETs.
- Oversee overall coordination of Country-wide Universities/TVETs Program Activities including Trainings.
- Driving results – monitoring success of Trainings and Trainees linked to job opportunities and overseeing the
- effectiveness of the entire Program for scale and impact.
- Ensuring high quality Trainings and completion rates for registered Students undertaking the Training.
- Ability to Lead and Supervise a Team of 40 plus individuals.
- Establish and maintain relationships with implementing collaborators including Universities, Colleges,
- and Technical and Vocational institutions, for the program work.
- Secure effective Partnerships with Organizations which provide work opportunities for Trained youth
- in Kenya in order to identify and catalyze strategic opportunities to develop and support initiatives
- that align with the program’s core objectives.
- Coordinate and ensure smooth logistics for Training activities including venues and equipment e.g. Projectors.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external Training suppliers.
- Provide Leadership to the Team and Trainers and onboard and evaluate new Trainers.
- Coordinate with the Trainers to develop Training aids such as Manuals and handbooks and Motivate and map out
- Training plans for the Trainers.
- Design and apply assessment tools to measure Program effectiveness and Track and report on Training outcomes.
- Effectively communicate with Team members, Trainers and Management.
- Keep abreast of Education, ICT and digital trends, developments and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in in Arts, Sciences or Education or related field.
- 6-10 years’ relevant working experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in Project Management
- Experience in a Managing Trainings in a related Role.
- Experience with Online work is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of competency assessment.
- prior experience working in large projects or with a large company/NGO will be an added benefit.
