Financial Analyst Job in Kenya

Sheer Logic Management Consultants is seeking to engage dynamic individuals for Financial Analyst position for one of our clients

End book Closure:

• Inputs from internal sources, BI e.g. HR, CX
• Submission of month end reports to CX & Finance
• Providing required inputs to relevant departments

Monthly Reconciliation:

• Compare the daily reconciliations with the monthly report to establish if there are any variances
• Alert relevant managers on any variance that is noted
• Reports include vendit, interoperability, annexure 1
• Review of daily reconciliations i.e. Annexure 2

Commission Payments

• AM Commission (CICO, Float sale/withdrawal, Banks)
• SSO Commission
• Mini DSA Commission
• Franchise Partners Commission
• Team incentives
• Enterprise partners commission
• Agents commission

Financial Reporting

• Monthly AM KPI Review Deck
• Non CWN Report
• Wallet Movement Control Report
• Regulatory reporting (IMT)

Academic Qualification:

• University Degree in Accounting or Business
• Certified Public Accountant (Kenya) or equivalent IT certifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Sound Financial Accounting knowledge.

Experience:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience. Examples include a rigorous professional work experience in a finance department or financial analyst role
• Experience with numbers and can provide quick, insightful analyses of the stories behind the numbers.
• IT literacy, knowledge and understanding of SQL or BI will be an added advantage
• Knowledge and certification on AML and CFT
• Strong in working with Excel formulas and functions
