Internship Length: 10 months fixed term internship
Salary and benefits: In line with Oxfam Values and according to location
Oxfam International is unable to guarantee the obtaining of a work permit for the role. Candidates must have and be able to retain the legal right to work in Kenya. We are not able to support the relocation of a candidate to take up the position in an Oxfam location.
Flexible working: We believe flexible working is key to building the Secretariat of the future, so we’re open to talking through the type of working arrangements that might work for you, for example fully or partially home-based, or compressed hours.
The Role
Oxfam International Secretariat is looking for a People’s Vaccine Intern to support the People’s Vaccine Campaign with a series of key activities that require coordination, planning, and research support. This includes supporting with organising and maintaining People’s Vaccine Alliance digital tools and production of content for social media, supporting in influential engagements, and writing pitches and coordinating the work of the relevant People’s Vaccine sub-teams, among others.

Who we’re looking for
We are looking for a person with some experience in project management and overall understanding of principles of dynamic global campaigning and advocacy, and of effective research approaches and principles to support campaigning outcomes. We look forward to hearing from individuals with ability to liaise with wide range of people, both internally and externally and at many levels with credibility, tact and diplomacy, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary way with sensitivity to cultural and gender issues. Additionally, we are looking for individuals who have self-awareness and with understanding and commitment to Oxfam values and principles.
