About JKUAT Kisii Campus – Details:
JKUAT Kisii CBD Campus began on 3 May 2010 with an enrollment of 150 students and 27 lecturers. At that time courses in three areas namely Business studies, Information Technology and science were offered. As the campus became more acceptable and competitive more courses were requested for. As a result Health sciences were introduced in September 2010. Presently the campus offers a diversity of programmes in four areas and has 81 lecturers.
Objectives
1. To improve the quality of teaching and examination
2. To initiate and nurture collaborations with leading institutions
3. To improve enrollment and retention of students by 10%
4. To motivate for graduates in the job market
Vision
A campus of excellent training, research and innovation
Mission
To offer training in order to produce leading graduates in the areas of Health sciences, Information Technology, Applied sciences and Enterprise Development
