The Civil society Budget Advocacy Group (CSBAG) is coalition of 100 Organizations, established in 2004 to influence Government decisions on resource mobilization and utilization for equitable and sustainable development.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Holder is responsible for managing all internal and external communications for the organization ensuring its messages are consistent.
He /She is responsible for developing and implementing an integrated communications strategy to increase awareness and recognition for the organization work. This is a high impact job.
Qualifications and Experience
At least a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
2+ years prior experience in a communications or advocacy role.
Understand the best practices of main social media channels including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
Must possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content.
Strong communicator who works well independently and with a team.
Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, and Illustrator is an asset.
Understanding of communications, public relations and branding best practices.
Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts.
Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction.
