JKUAT School Of Pharmacy – Details:
The Bachelor of Pharmacy program was started in May 2011. The Pharmacy and Poisons Board conducted the first inspection of the institution in February 2010 with the objective of establishing the Institution’s status within the accreditation process.
The institution was awarded per-accreditation status.
The JKUAT Bachelor of Pharmacy curriculum has been developed and approved by the Senate and its consistent with the Pharmacy and Poison Board national curriculum and it is on full time basis.
The pioneer class is in fourth year; first trimester with other groups in first, second and third year. The University boasts of a well equipped laboratories and well experienced and professional pharmacist.

KCSE mean grade B- with C+ in the cluster subjects:
Biology / Biological Sciences
Chemistry
Mathematics / physics
English / Kiswahili
Higher National Diploma: One academic year exemption from study subject.
