Requirements
For appointment to this position, an applicant must be in possession of the following qualifications: –
- Hold a degree in Law, Management, Administration or other Social Sciences, from a university recognized in Kenya.
- Have a least ten (10) years proven experience at management level.
- Meets the requirements of Chapter 6 of the Constitution of Kenya on leadership and integrity.
Note: Holder of Law Degree
- Advocate’s experience may have been gained in Kenya or in any other country with a Common Law jurisdiction
Duties and Responsibilities
- The Secretary of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal shall be responsible for:
- Coordinate and manage the day to day affairs of the Tribunal
- Drive the Tribunal’s vision through the implementation of its Programmes and plans
- Mobilize and manage the resources of the tribunal to achieve its core mandate.
- Prepare the Tribunal’s annual plans and estimates.
- Oversee financial and administrative management of the Tribunal.
- Ensure financial reporting and accountability in accordance with the law, Government of Kenya procedures and guidelines of the Judiciary.
- Provide requisite leadership to ensure the Tribunal attains a high level of competitiveness and ethical standards in its entire programmes.
