The job holder is responsible for enforcement of standing orders. Speakers rules and orders to ensure order and decorum in the County Assembly .
Duties and Responsibilities
• Allocating mailto Member’s pigeonhole
• Booking of visitors at the entrances
• Issuance of entry badges
• Screening of strangers
• Storage of stranger’s baggage
• Prevent removal of institutional property without proper and authorized documentation
• Handling of telephone services
• Control of vehicular traffic parking
• Patrolling of offices, car park and member’s lounge etc
• Perform periodic security night duties xi preventing any interruption as the County Assembly meeting is in progress:
• Ensuring public gallery Security within the county assembly
• Serving members in the chamber
• Controlling the press in the public gallery when the county assembly is in progress and
• Controlling dress code in the public gallery to ensure decorum in the County Assembly
Requirements for Appointment
• KCSE mean Scale D(+)
• Be in a possession of paramilitary/military training qualifications
• Have a certificate of good conduct
• Evidence of experience in a Parliamentary or County Assembly setup in this position
• Served in the grade of Commissionaire lll or
in a comparable position for a minimum period of two (2) years:
