  • Abt Associates, a global leader in implementing technical assistance programs and research in the fields of economic growth, agriculture, social and environmental policy, and climate change, seeks highly qualified candidates for the anticipated Kenya Vector Control Bilateral, which will support the U.S.
  • President’s Malaria Initiative (PMI) and USAID to plan and implement an integrated vector control approach with the overall goal of reducing the burden of malaria.
  • This project will include entomological monitoring, net durability monitoring, technical assistance provision for continuous community net distribution, and IRS implementation.
  • All positions will be based in Kisumu and are contingent upon project award to Abt Associates.

    ITN Advisor

  • Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Party, Vector Control, the ITN Advisor is responsible for the planning, implementation, and provision of technical assistance for ITN delivery programs as part of an integrated vector control package in Kenya.
  • S/he will support mass and continuous ITN distribution, develop risk mitigation plans and other standard operation procedures that guide ITN distribution, and support local ITN partners to achieve high-quality implementation of activities and strategies for achieving universal coverage.
  • Candidates must have a Bachelors degree and at least 10 years in demonstrated successful in malaria programs particularly supporting ITN distribution and direct experience in mass ITN campaigns and continuous distribution experience
