Is a not-for-profit organisation, which works as a catalyst and model for the conservation of wildlife and its habitat LWC does this through the protection and management of species, the initiation and support of community conservation and development programme, and the education of neighbouring areas In the value of wildlife.
  • We looking for high calibre, self-driven and dedicated Individuals to serve as Donor Relations Manager.

    The Role:

  • Reporting so the Chief Administrative Officer, the Donor Relations Manager is responsible for all donor relations and management in situ within the Conservancy. providing support to all Lewa staff and programmes in Kenya and internationally to improve donor relationship management and increase fundraising and effciency.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Proactively collating and making available programme Information, data, and reports as required.

    • Support the Senior Communications Officer (based Kenya)and the Development & Communication Manager (based internationally) on online fundraising Initiatives and strategy development.

    • Develop and implement local fundraising strategy, Including organization of fundraising events in Kenya

    • Maintain up-to-date data on all donor relationships/ communications. visits. proposals and reports on database (Salesforce)

    • Dive presentations to Incoming donors and visitors to the conservancy highlighting Lewa’s conservation and community livelihood development Impact

    • Donor prospect hosting. support and programme (itinerary) development in Kenya with associated follow-up (database update and agreeing next steps with wider development team) to enhance

    prospect conversion post visit.

    Qualifications: Education/ Knowledge/Technical Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in international relations, public administration, social sciences, or development related held:

    • Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in donor management, international relations, resource mobilization, or a similar field both locally and internationally

    • Excellent written and spoken English and Swahili

    • Organized, and proactive, able to coordinate information from multiple team member to meet deadlines.

    • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills. especially presentation skills leading to the conversion of prospective donations

    • Experience in Sales force highly desirable.
