About MMUST School of Open Learning and Continuing Education SOLACE
The School of Open Learning and Continuing Education (SOLACE) with a current student population of over 1500 students has the mandate of increasing access to learning opportunities for both professional and academic learners. In this regard SOLACE is committed to the creation of new programs while enhancing the existing ones to ensure the preservation of academic freedoms and extension of higher education through flexible tuition hours (regular, evening and weekend classes) to meet the diverse needs of our students. The SOLACE Board of Management is in the process of advertising programs that have specialized content targeting specific groups of learners regardless of age, gender, religion, education background and any other orientation.
The introduction of the Centre for Training and Development for Short Courses as a division under SOLACE has further enhanced the presence of the school as one offering a variety of affordable capacity building and learning opportunities for professionals and organizations keen on remaining relevant in the dynamic business environment .Our short courses can be accessed through on-line, modules and face to face trainings at MMUST or as preferred by the participants.
