The School aims at offering insights into the real-world problems and issues confronting the tourism, travel and hospitality sectors at the local, national, regional and international levels. It is at the forefront in bridging training needs and gaps identified in Kenya Vision 2030, National Tourism Policy and the Ministry of Tourism’s Strategic Plan..
To be admitted into the diploma programme, the applicant must fulfil academic requirements as prescribed by Moi University:
Pass with minimum aggregate KCSE grade of C- or equivalent score in an examination recognized by the University Senate.
O-level certificate with minimum grade of Division III or equivalent plus evidence of relevant academic or professional training.
A-level qualification with a minimum of 1 principal pass or 3 subsidiaries with at least D+ in KCSE or equivalent.
A certificate from a recognized/ accredited post secondary institution after a full cycle of secondary education.
Any other qualification that may be defined by Senate from time to time.
To be admitted into the undergraduate programme, the applicant must fulfil academic requirements as prescribed by Moi University:
Mean Grade of C+ at KCSE or
Two principal passes and the subsidiary pass at KACE – “A” Level or
A Diploma in a related discipline from a recognized/accredited institution
Higher National Diploma in a related discipline from a recognized/accredited institution
Postgraduate Programmes

Doctor of Philosophy in Tourism Management
