Tradestar Kenya Limited is fast growing outsourcing organization situated in Thika town.
We are looking for an intern with programming background to work for a period of 6 – 12 months.
When you are able to pass the internship, a full-time employment can be offered.
The preferred person should have;
Responsibilities
Experience in developing Enterprise grade Web & Mobile Application using Ionic Framework (V3, 4,5) in integrated environment.
Hands on experience with Angular JS, Typed Script, JQuery, REST APIs, JSON, JavaScript and strong OO programming concepts.
Hands on experience in developing and building cross-platform mobile applications using HTML 5, CSS, Bootstrap.
Good Knowledge of micro-front end / component-based development concepts.
Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle methodology.
Identify and implement industry best practice standards.
Using SQLite with mobile app, writing and optimizing DB queries.
Ability to understand business urgency and effectively acting upon the situation.
Independent, self-motivated, and the ability to adapt in a fast and dynamic environment
Must possess good communication skills.
Familiarity with Moodle education platform is a strong plus
Education and experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/Software development/Software Engineering
Practical experience with PHP/JavaScript/MySQL
Good knowledge and experience with HTML/CSS
Experience with DHTMLX/C++ is an added advantage

Distance of travel from home to office in Thika must be less than 60min
Salary:
Ksh 25,000 gross salary + travel. Salary will be re-evaluated after 3 months.
Good results can lead to a higher salary and permanent contract.
