Our client is in the manufacturing industry is looking for qualified candidate to fill the position of a Store Manager.

Job Summary: The Store Manager will be responsible of handling the company’s general Workshop stores operations by ensuring adequate availability of stocks for operations.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
To ensure proper receipt of items into the stores as per company/ procurement regulations
To ensure proper documentation of delivered and issued items.
To ensure safety of all stock items, tools and equipment under his responsibility.
To ensure effective inventory control to minimize operational interruption due to stock run out and minimize losses.
To organize required perpetual counts, report and explain variances.
To proactively propose improvements in the stock control processes to enhance the performance of his team and the company, to track over-consumption and continuously improving the safeguard of the stock items, tools and equipment under his responsibility.
To facilitate return of rejected/ over supplied items to suppliers.
To facilitate disposal of scrap and obsolete stocks.
To perform the general administration of the division and stock taking accounting.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Degree in procurement / Business management / Stores Management / Accounting.
Fully computer literate.
Previous experience with the use of an ERP and/or stock management software.
Work Experience
Minimum of 4 to 6 years working experience in a similar or related industry.
Skills Required
Excellent communication skills (written and Verbal)
Possess ability to lead, influence and manage the team and work closely with all caliber of staff.
Attentive to details.
Strong team working and leadership skills.
Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills.
Matured, honest and trustworthy.
