UNIMA Malawi Transportation Technology Transfer T2 – Check Below:
The Malawi Transportation Technology Transfer Centre (T2 C) was officially launched on 4th June 2001 by the then Minister of Transport and Public Works, Honourable S.D. Kaliyoma Phumisa, MP. The launch was witnessed by the University of Malawi Vice Chancellor, Prof James David Rubadiri, and the then United States of America Ambassador to Malawi among others. The Centre was established by the Ministry of Transport and Public Works with support from United States Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration. The collaborating institutions in Malawi include the National Roads Authority (NRA), The National Construction Industry Council (NCIC), and the University of Malawi – The Polytechnic.
The Centre is located in the Civil Engineering Building at The Polytechnic in Blantyre. T2C’s vision is to be recognized as a leader in the provision of transportation information and technology transfer. It’s mission is to make transportation safe and efficient throughout Malawi
