Telesales and Social Media Agent Jobs in Kenya
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in provision of services and activities undertaken at the call centre to ensure proper coverage.
- Manage the SLMC social media platforms (Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook).
- Create dynamic and engaging text, image and video content across social media platforms highlighting the SLMC products, services and achievements.
- Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on the SLMC’s website and encourages audience participation.
- Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content while analyzing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits.
- Proposes new ideas and concepts for social media content and suggest new ways to attract more professional interest in the SLMC work and development agenda.
- Measure web traffic, monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization.
- Analyze and report audience information and demographics and document success of existing social media campaign.
- Manage social media communications (online reviews and feedback).
- Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.

Attributes
- Highly adaptable with capacity to perform all contact centre tasks.
- Highly proficient skills in social media platform, e-marketing skills an added advantage.
- A minimum of a recognized diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies (Degree added advantage).
- Preferably two (2) years of practical experience working in social media (e-marketing) with proven success.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices.
- Familiarity with web design and publishing.
- Strong communication skills with emphasis on proofreading and grammar excellence.
- Good time-management skills and ability to multitask.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- A team player, a starter with capacity to work under little supervision.
Skills
- IT and reporting literacy.
- MS Word, excel and power point for reports.
- Experience working with websites and various CMS -Content Management Systems.
- Knowledge of SEO best practice.
- Experience using graphic design tools.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Conversant with telesales.
