Kenya Institute of Management Examinations 2021 | Details Of Ongoing Examinations at Kenya Institute of Management (KIM)
The authority of KIM to offer exams is provided for by legal notice number 375 of 2002.The KIM exams department is responsible for the administration of KIM exams countrywide. At the moment KIM exams are done in twenty seven outlets countrywide. KIM graduates have proceeded for further studies in Institutions of higher learning both locally and abroad.
The core functions of the department include:
Setting and moderation of exams
Printing and Administration of exams

Marking and declaration of results

Examination Approach
KIM exams lay emphasis on CAT, WBA, and end of semester exams
Continuous Assessment tests (CATS) constitutes 15% of the final scores
Work-Based Assignment (WBA) constitutes 15% of the final score.
Each student must submit both WBA and CAT in each subject during the course of the semester.
End of Semester exams carry 70% of the final score.
Diploma students are expected to carry out a research project prior to graduation.
