About KMTC Department of Pharmacy
KMTC’s department of Pharmacy is as old as the institution itself. Established in 1927 to train local pharmaceutical personnel to meet local needs, KMTC’s department of pharmacy pioneered the training of pharmacy personnel in the country.
The course started as a certificate course in 1927, but later changed into a diploma in 1968. Since then, the programme has grown in strength. It currently graduates more than 470 pharmaceutical technologists annually.
Owing to the high calibre of trainers you can be sure that when you train with us, you are training with the best in the industry. We produce pharmaceutical technologists for the country, regional and international markets. As a matter of fact, our graduates make up more than 80% of pharmaceutical technologists in the vcountry.
Propelled by the theme “Improving pharmaceutical services through training and research”, the department has also aggressively embarked on research.
