Department of Business and Entrepreneurship is the largest department in student numbers and number of programmes in School of Business and Economics:
The department of Business and Entrepreneurship currently offers the following Diploma Programmes:
i) Diploma in Business Management: It is a foundational diploma course targeting persons who are keen on gaining relevant skills to pursue a career in business.
ii) Diploma in Human Resource Management: It is a foundational diploma course targeting persons who are keen on gaining relevant skills to pursue a career in human resource management.
The department of Business and Entrepreneurship currently offers the following Undergraduate Programmes:
a) Bachelor of Commerce: The programme equips learners with business skills necessary to pursue a career in various business fields. The options offered include Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Insurance and Marketing.
b) Bachelor of Business and Information Technology: The programme equips learners with business skills with the requisite information technology know how.
The department of Business and Entrepreneurship currently offers the following Masters Programme:
i) Master of Business Administration: This is a postgraduate programme targeting persons practicing business and those keen on gaining the requisite business management skills. The specializations offered include Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance and Strategic Management.
Starting September, 2016 the department of Business and Entrepreneurship will offer the following Undergraduate Programmes:
i) Bachelor of Business and Office Management: This will offer requisite skills for office managers and administrators.
ii) Bachelor of Entrepreneurship: This will offer requisite skills for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Starting September, 2016 the department of Business and Entrepreneurship will offer the following Masters Programmes:
i) Master of Science in Entrepreneurship: This is a postgraduate programme targeting persons keen on specializing in management of entrepreneurial activities.
ii) Master of Science in Human Resource Management: This is a postgraduate programme targeting persons keen on specializing in management of human resources.
iii) Master of Science in Marketing: This is a postgraduate programme targeting persons keen on specializing in management of marketing activities.
