Job Title:  E-Wallet Operations Officer (2 Fresher Jobs)

PostBank Uganda Ltd is a Government owned bank regulated by Bank of Uganda under the Financial Institutions Act, 2004. The bank focuses on the mass market with operations spread across the country.

 

Job Summary:   The E-Wallet Operations Officer is responsible for the daily processing of E-Wallet back-office activities in line with operating guidelines as a means of contributing to quality service delivery. These activities include organization (aggregators, agents, merchants, corporate entities) onboarding and managing organization operators, settlement processing, query resolution and claw back.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, verify, acknowledge, and process E-wallet onboarding instructions as per the guiding processes and procedures.
  • Timely and accurate modification of instructions in the system within the agreed service level agreement.
  • Receive, investigate, and resolve queries that relate to E-Wallet Operations.
  • Daily settlements for E- wallet transactions for merchants, billers and W2B.
  • Carryout out due diligence checks on the integrity of instructions from both the Sales agents and contact center. Report any exceptions on a timely basis.
  • Resolve any outstanding items on the e-wallet suspense accounts.
  • Timely replenishment of float to all OVA’s utilized for the PBU-E- wallet operations.

 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or any related field
  • Two years of experience in Banking operations or Mobile money Operations.
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities and multi-task well to ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks and projects.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the back-office operation, procedures, and processes.
  • The ability to identify and engage with all the key stake holders in the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize daily tasks.
  • Ability to work with strict deadlines.
  • Customer oriented (Internal and external).
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
